Illuminated and non-illuminated sign boxes

Box to box cabinets, illuminated or not, with diffusing face, applied channel letters or through-illumination PMMA depending on the project.

Understand the product

The principle
of construction

The sign box, illuminated or non-illuminated, is built box to box: a back with returns and a fitted front box, carrying the graphic or applied elements. Lighting depends on the version. Access to the internal elements is planned from the design stage.

Which model would you like?

Choose a sub-family, then the exact product. Then open its mounting submenu to display its assembled 3D plan: at night for lit or backlit products, by day for products without lighting. Then add your selection to the basket or return to the families menu.

Applied, cut-out or push-through faces

Four ways to configure
the face of your sign

The boxes are made box to box: back with returns and fitted front box. These four constructions concern the front face; lighting variants are retained.

01

Folded tray panel + channel letters

Sheet metal face with applied channel letters. Front illumination of the letters; a non-illuminated version can be considered.

Luminous or non-luminous variant depending on the project.

02

Folded tray panel + PMMA face + boxes

Structure in folded tray panel, front face in diffusing PMMA and applied channel letters. Backlighting of the panel and backlighting of the letters to be defined separately.

Luminous or non-luminous variant depending on the project.

03

Perforated sheet metal + applied PMMA

Sheet metal cut to the outline of the letters or logo, with applied PMMA. Fixing, thickness, diffusion and any PMMA overhang to be specified.

Luminous or non-luminous variant depending on the project.

04

Perforated sheet metal + through PMMA, 5 mm return

PMMA passing through the sheet metal cut-outs and protruding by 5 mm from the outer face. With or without lighting; assembly and thicknesses to be defined.

Luminous or non-luminous variant depending on the project.

On the 3D views, select the construction then its lighting. For the through-lit version, the 5 mm projection is measured from the outer face of the sheet metal to the visible face of the PMMA.

Compare the options

The configurations

Single-sided

A main communication face, with installation and fixings suited to the building.

Double-sided / projecting sign

Two visible faces from opposite directions. Overhang, weight and substrate must be taken into account in the assessment.

Rigid face or fabric

The choice affects the appearance, graphic replacement and holding system. It depends on the construction selected.

Professional questions

Before pricing

Which dimensions should be provided?

Desired width, height and depth, as well as the available space on the façade.

Can a replaceable graphic be provided?

This requirement must be stated at the outset in order to select a suitable construction and access.

Which file should be sent?

The vector logo and, for a printed graphic, the graphic file with its dimensions and colour references.

Should an electrical connection be provided?

Please specify the location of the existing or planned power supply. The connection and its scope are to be defined for the project.
